5 Day Lushoto (Usambara Mountains)

DAY 1: ARRIVAL

You’ll be picked up from Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport and taken to your hotel in Dar Es Salaam where you can relax and recover from your journey.
Accommodation: Tanzanite Executive Suite.
Meals: Dinner & Breakfast.

DAY 2: DAR ES SALAAM – LUSHOTO USAMBARA MOUNTAIN

In the morning after breakfast you’ll leave Dar Es Salaam and be taken to Lushoto. On the drive you’ll be able to enjoy the views and see traditional villages. After lunch at Irente View Cliff Lodge you’ll visit Irente Viewing point.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

DAY 3: MAZUMBAI FOREST RESERVE

In the morning after breakfast you’ll visit tea plantations and coffee plantations and the Mazumbai forest. This is pristine forest and we’ll go for a short walk here looking out for huge tree, wild flowers and the black and white Colobus monkey.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

DAY 4: MAZUMBAI- BUMBULI- SONI WATERFALLS

After breakfast you’ll visit Bumbuli with its beautiful scenery and from there we’ll take you to Soni waterfalls for a swimming and picnic lunch. We’ll go back to the lodge in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

DAY 5: LUSHOTO – DAR ES SALAAM

In the morning after breakfast you’ll be taken back to Dar es Salaam. We’ll take you for lunch at the Southern Sun Hotel and then to the airport for your flight back home. This has been a special safari and you’ll be taking some special memories home with you.
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.
